Speed to lead

The time between an enquiry arriving and the first contact with the person.

Technical meaning

An enquiry goes cold quickly: the person has often contacted several companies and remembers the one that answers first. Measuring this delay, evenings and weekends included, is often the cheapest way to lower acquisition cost. An immediate automated reply, followed by a human call back, covers the hours when nobody is available.
