Privacy policy

This policy describes how Contrast collects, uses and protects your personal data, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP, “nLPD” in French) and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This English version is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version is the legally binding one.

Data we collect

We only process the data necessary for our purposes:

  • Contact data that you send us through our forms or when booking an appointment (name, email, company, message).
  • Browsing and interaction data (pages viewed, clicks, scrolling), collected anonymously, and only if you consent to it (audience measurement).

We do not collect any sensitive category of data and do not buy any data from third parties.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Responding to your requests and arranging a diagnostic or an appointment; basis: your request / the performance of pre-contractual measures.
  • Improving our website through anonymised statistics; basis: your consent.
  • Complying with our legal and accounting obligations; basis: legal obligation.

Cookies and audience measurement

Our website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work and, with your consent, audience measurement cookies: Google Analytics 4 (visit statistics, anonymised IP address) and Microsoft Clarity (browsing analysis: heatmaps, session replay). These tools are only loaded after you have given your consent. You can manage your choice at any time from our cookie policy.

Data sharing

Your data is never sold. It may be processed by trusted technical service providers (hosting, appointment booking or emailing tools) acting on our behalf and bound by confidentiality obligations. Where a provider is located outside Switzerland or the EU, we ensure an adequate level of protection.

Retention period

We keep your data for as long as necessary for the purpose pursued, then in accordance with statutory retention periods. Contact data from an enquiry that does not go any further is deleted within a reasonable time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and delete your data and to object to its processing, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against any unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
