Cart abandonment
A visitor adds a product to the cart, then leaves the store without buying.
Technical meaning
The rate is read step by step (cart, checkout started, purchase) to find where the leak happens: shipping costs discovered late, a missing payment method, a mandatory account. An automated email follow-up recovers some carts, provided the address was entered and the person consented.
