The Swiss framework

UCA · Swiss Federal Act against Unfair Competition

In plain terms

The Swiss law that forbids misleading clients or disparaging competitors in communication (LCD in French).

Technical meaning

It governs in particular comparative advertising and claims about one's own results: a comparison must be accurate and verifiable, an announced performance must be provable. That is why Contrast publishes no figure without a source and never compares a client by name with a competitor.
